I am from sweden.
I have problems with my AFL-headlight unit on my Insignia -09. I get fault messages about AFL out of function. It used to be once a week but now it is permanent.
High beam stops working.
The Opel dealer says the problem is within the left head light (controlunit for the beam position) and it has to be replaced.
They say it is 1450 Euro! They also say it use to cost even more and the price is reduced.
When I look at autoteilemann.de they have the complete unit for 652 Euro.

If I would walk in to a Opel dealer in Germany, what would the unit then cost? Is there something missing in the Autoteilmann-unit (except Xenon-bulb)?
In sweden we have a data base for used car parts (bildelsbasen.com). Is there something similar in germany? Is there any chance to find a used unit or are they just as rare as in sweden?
Autoteilemann dose not have any lights in stock.
Answers appriciated. Also in german. I can use google translate.
